2016 Ispolaia Rosato IGT

A rosé wine made with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes picked at the beginning of September and left to macerate for no more than 12 hours on their skins. The resulting wine was kept on it´s lees with frequent stirring for around 4 months after which it was bottled.

Fresh and at the same time vibrant with a distinctive savoury taste and spicy lingering finish this is a strong Summer performer, quintessentially Tuscan in the elegance that derives from the Sangiovese and the exotic overtones from the dash of Merlot contained. This is highly enjoyable with your BBQ or as an aperitif on it´s own. Bright rosé in colour almost „cerasuolo“ as some Italians would say.Serve fresh at 10° C. Will interestingly acquire complexity with bottle age.
